Fine Art Commission Agreement & Client Experience
Commission an Original Artwork
Thank you for choosing to invest in an original work of art. Every commissioned artwork is an exclusive, one-of-a-kind piece created specifically for you through a thoughtful collaboration that honors your vision while preserving the integrity of my artistic practice.
Working primarily in abstract and contemporary modernism, I create museum-quality artwork designed to become a lasting statement piece for your home, business, or collection.
Each commission is approached with intention, craftsmanship, and attention to detail, resulting in an original work that cannot be replicated.
The Commission Experience
Discovery Consultation
Every commission begins with a private consultation where we will discuss:
-
Purpose and intended space for the artwork
-
Dimensions and orientation
-
Preferred color palette
-
Desired mood, emotion, and inspiration
-
Design preferences
-
Timeline
-
Budget
-
Delivery and installation needs
Following the consultation, you will receive a personalized Commission Agreement detailing the project scope, specifications, investment, timeline, and expectations.
Reservation & Payment
A commission is officially reserved once:
-
The Commission Agreement has been signed.
-
A non-refundable deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total commission investment has been received.
The remaining fifty percent (50%) balance is due before delivery, installation, or shipment of the completed artwork.
Artwork remains the sole property of the Artist until payment has been received in full.
Accepted payment methods will be outlined in the Commission Agreement.
Balances remaining unpaid beyond ten (10) calendar days after notification of completion may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by law) and may delay delivery until the account is current.
Creative Process
Each commissioned piece is an original work of art.
Although your ideas and preferences help guide the process, the artwork reflects my individual artistic style, creative interpretation, materials, and techniques.
No commissioned artwork will be an exact reproduction of another artwork, photograph, or digital rendering.
Clients acknowledge that originality is one of the defining characteristics of fine art.
